Post Office & Puffin Stores
The village Post Office provides a cash withdrawal and banking service for most UK banks. Additionally, it is a convenience store, newsagents, tobacconist and confectioners- stocking beach toys, cards, stationery, maps and books. In fact, pretty much everything you could ask for in a small village!
The Aln Gift Shop
Situated in Northumberland Street, the shop sells items and artwork inspired by the beautiful Northumberland coast and Alnmouth’s rural location. It stocks a range of gifts, cards and artwork by local artists in its gallery.
Pubs & Hotels
The Red Lion Inn
The Red Lion Inn is a traditional real ale pub with accommodation. The pub is dog-friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome. There is a Beer Garden and regular live music. The Red Lion hosts the annual Alnmouth Beer Festival.

Old School Gallery
The Gallery is located in the old village school on Foxton Road. It hosts regular exhibitions of original contemporary art – with frequent contributions from local artists. In addition, it has a gift shop and a cafe serving tea, coffee and homemade cakes. Tel: 01665 830554

Scotts is a Delicatessen and Cafe offering customers home cooked and handmade artisan bread, cheeses, charcuterie, patisserie, fresh salads and soups, pies and quiches. The cafe serves lunches and teas.
